1001 Albums Summary

Strange, dark, beautiful.

I quite enjoyed this, listened a few times. It comes off as such friendly music despite being extremely experimental.

Can't say I have listened to much Swedish folk rock or Scandinavian ballads. Took me a few tracks to warm up, but I got into it.

I can get into this. If I listen to a lot of The Weeknd it starts sounding whiney, but this is a cohesive album with a lot of strong songs. "Save Your Tears" really jumped out on this listen for some reason. May have been because it was reminding me "Apocalypse" by Cigarettes After Sex.

"Emmylou" is the star of the show, but several gems. A duo that consistently makes very good albums. The harmonies are knockout!
