This is a fine album, but I'm not sure when I'd want to listen to it. I like Cream better, and if I wanted to listen to blues, I'd rather listen to the original artists.
Feels less polished than What's the Story. Since I've never listened to this album before, I don't have any emotional attachment to it. It was OK, didn't make me excited.
It's good! It sounded pretty fresh for being 53 years old.
I was prepared to hate this, but it's not bad. Sounds like Lou Reed covering the proclaimers. The cool instrumentation (backwards guitars? strings?) keep things more interesting than I was expecting.
