Listens like a musical from the early '70s
Good to know that the transition to "I used to be able to stay out all night and now I'm tired" hasn't changed, regardless of the generations lol
Also really interested to see that we're in a musical time where bridges have been ditched again and songs were shorter, but this album shows that songs weren't always in the 3-5 minutes format.
Really like his vocals, even if I'm not in love with all the songs.
OH MY GOD HE SANG WITHOUT YOU?!?!?!?!?! Dear god, this song is heartbreak in music

Ooooh, how have I never heard this band before? It's like...SoCal grunge? I love the description of them as being "desert noir;" I think that's a very apt description. Really a big fan of their instrumental stuff. Again, this is an album I never would have found on my own and I'm glad that I've wandered into it.
Oooh Crumble is one of my favorites. Love the jazzy flavor of it.
