Holy lord. There may be nothing more pure.
I didn’t want to like it, but I just did.
It’s hard to take this music seriously. It’s charming, trippy, and makes me want to try hallucinogenics and give it another try.
This is the first band I ever fell in live with. I remember being on family vacation, listening to it on a disc-man, laying in the grass, eyes closed, mind blown. I didn’t know about sex or Robert Johnson yet, but as time went by my appreciation for this album matured. It has a place in my still adolescent heart.
I wouldn’t mind if I never heard nick cave ever again. I have loved some of his songs, covered many of them, but now it just sounds flat and boring.
Like Beck but more uncomfortable.
I’m sure this is somebody’s thing.
