All Mod Cons by The Jam

British, So British, and highly melodic. Paul Weller is the genius here, But I enjoyed the abilities of rhythm section. I can totally sense a lot of influences on the 90s Britpop movement. 3 stars because not really my cup of tea.. but a great experience.

She's So Unusual by Cyndi Lauper
Mar 11 2021

To my wonder, the album's genre was different from what i thought.. It is pop.. But highly drenched in new wave sounds. It totally could named a new wave album, even a good one. Note to myself: Cyndi Lauper wrote the "Time after time".

Detailed and beautifully crafted dance music. It got kinda boring after the second half though, I think it was not supposed to be an album rather than a collection of Dance songs. Another interesting fact was this album was released in the same year which "Disco Demolition Night" happened.

System Of A Down by System Of A Down
Mar 16 2021

Not my favorite album of SOAD, but still a great album, it's quite different from all of their future releases. It is punkier and Thrashier than rest of their catalog. But i still enjoyed re listening to it, with better focus on lyrics.

1999 by Prince

I can't stop thinking about the number of people danced to the second half of this album and the number of children conceived while second half of it were playing! Sexy, genius, sexy, elaborated, sexy and greatly produced..
