Elephant
The White Stripes
One of the most solid blues rock records of the 2000s. Heavy riffs and raw playing contrast with some beautiful songwriting and touching lower energy moments.
Top Tracks: There’s No Home for You Here, Ball and Biscuit, Acorns, Hypnotize, Girl, You Have No Faith in Medicine
Worst Tracks: Black Math, I Want to be the Boy to Warm Your Mother’s Heart

Appetite For Destruction
Guns N' Roses
(Listened to Before)This is a childhood favorite so definitely biased, but this is one of the best hard rock/hair metal records ever. Listening back more critically this time, there are definitely a couple meh songs on here, but nearly everything is enjoyable and there are too many classics on here for those mediocre tracks to hurt my overall view hurt the overall record.
Best Tracks: My Michelle, Rocket Queen, Sweet Child O’ Mine, Welcome to the Jungle
Worst Tracks: Nightrain, You’re Crazy

Elvis Is Back
Elvis Presley
(Listened to some songs before but never full album) This was a solid pop/blues record and I enjoyed most of it. It would jump from sounding inspired at points to sounding a bit trite, but overall liked it. Conflicted between 3 and 4 stars for it.
Favorite Songs: I Will Be Home Again, Soldier Boy, It Feels So Right
Least Favorite Songs: The Girl of My Best Friend, Dirty, Dirty Feeling

My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy
Kanye West
(Listened to Before) Had this on repeat in middle school and listening back I have a similar opinion on it still. Some of my favorite Kanye songs are on here, but there’s also some mediocre cuts. Think this is maybe his 4th or 5th best album, but it’s still one of the most important and era-defining projects ever dropped. The production blows my mind for most of it and even on some of the tracks I don’t care for Kanye raps his ass off.
Favorite Tracks: Hell Of A Life, Devil In A New Dress, POWER
Least Favorite Tracks: Gorgeous, So Apalled, Blame Game

At Folsom Prison
Johnny Cash
(Listened to Before) One of the most genuine and authentic albums I’ve ever heard. I love it when he breaks mid-song to tell a joke or a laugh slips, especially when it’s in contrast to some soul-crushingly melancholy lyrics. I don’t really think there’s a bad track in the bunch. I love this album and the special place it takes me to every time I revisit it.
Favorite Tracks: 25 Minutes to Go, Orange Blossom Special, The Long Black Veil, Dirty Old Egg-Suckin’ Dog, Jackson, Greystone Chapel
Least Favorite Tracks: I Still Miss Someone

Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band
Beatles
(Listened to Before) Not much to say other than this is a classic. Love most of it and how the Beatles maintain their identity through some somewhat psychedelic stylings. Top 5 Beatles album.
Favorite Tracks: Fixing A Hole, Getting Better, Being For The Benefit Of Mr. Kite!, Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds
Least Favorite Tracks: When I’m Sixty Four
