1001 Albums Summary

It was fun to revisit the doors, especially the 1st 4 tracks here.

I grew up with Lenny's top 40 hits on the radio, but didn't know much beyond that. I liked the funkier tracks that opened this one. I Build This Garden for Us was recognizable but I have no idea where I've heard it.

I had low expectations after reading about the traditional origins of this album, but I enjoyed some of these songs quite a bit. The instrumentation is definitely more interesting than anticipated.
