Not real familiar with Bowie, to be honest. It has that classic rock sound that doesn't do a lot for me.

This is fine. I especially liked the chainsaw in the last track.

Those high pitched voices are definitely from another era, aren't they? Some timeless jams in here regardless. Such a summer, classic car show vibe. Makes me wonder if there's a cache of bangin Beach Boys covers somewhere that I should be listening to. Also love the shag rug sweaters these boys are wearing on the album cover. And they list a billion songs "+ three more". Classic.

The best thing I can say about this is that I didn't actively hate it. I didn't like it though. Very melancholy, sad, folky. Not at all for me.

The downtempo sexy slow jams aren't my usual wheelhouse, but there are some smoldering jazzy tracks in here. A good find that I'd never heard of before.

YES, THIS!! I've only come to appreciate Prince in the last few years, really. This album is a fav though. The tracks are all so varied, but so funky. Love it.
