Dinner party, quite morning stirring music. Fan of the slower movements as I’ve never enjoyed the energy of big band arrangements. Was glad to see that the first track was not an indicator for the rest of the album. Lovely, natural reverb on Ella’s voice, especially noticed it on Someone To Watch Over Me. Ok, now the reverb is all I can hear in this album, and I love it. This morning I've gone down a rabbit hole of looking at where this was recorded, Capitol Studio A. Need to listen more closely to the countless albums recorded there.
