MTV Unplugged In New York
NirvanaThe gold standard for live acoustic albums and probably my favorite Nirvana album. The cover of ‘Lake of Fire’ is awesome. RIP Kurt.

Liked the first few tracks (‘Perfect Skin’, ‘Speedboat’, and ‘Rattlesnakes’) and then kind of lost interest. Lloyd Cole has a unique voice and some really good lyrics though.
I think I still like his later albums more but this one was solid. ‘Me and Julio...’ is one of his all-time great songs. ‘Duncan’ is a track I had never heard that I really liked.
Really tried to like this one more than I did but couldn't. A lot of the songs had an anthemic feel and great lyrics that really told stories but as soon as 'Badlands' started I just couldn't get past Springsteen's voice. E-Street Band killed it though. I respect the dude's contributions to music and developing the genre of 'heartland rock' but I'd much rather listen to early Tom Petty than this.
This was great. Opening track was such a banger I had to listen to it 3 times. Some of these tracks had some seriously funky P-F vibes. Featuring artists like Stephen Marley and Roy Hargrove were great.

It’s Hendrix so of course it’s a 5-star album. Some great songs on here including ‘Little Wing’ and ‘Bold as Love’. It’s crazy how many innovative guitar techniques Hendrix showcases on this album.
Really great classic rock album and the beginning of glam. ‘Get It On’ and ‘Cosmic Dancer’ are classics.
