1001 Albums Summary

- I didn't enjoy the first minute of the album which is where I usually quit - First song is pretty though, pretty badass at the end - Love the distorted guitars on so real - Definitely an incredible rendition of hallelujah, perhaps over shadowed because people have copied what he did in the last 25 years in their own performances - powerful accordions surprise on lover, you should've come over - intro guitar on Eternal life is good, fucking hard even, the rest of the song goes on a little long but the guitar remains strong. - most of the songs seem a bit long, perceptions of what a songs length should be have changed a lot in the last 25 years - closing out the album, good rock album not something that I would listen to normally but I enjoyed the whole thing, wish the songs were a bit shorter but the music that's there is great, the organ on the last song is beautiful

It was alright but it felt kinda unoriginal? Maybe it's cause I've listened to so much more soul music and this is OG stuff. I also didn't like the lack of cohesion. The hits on it hit though.

the listening experience is kinda messy on spotify, I hate when a band combines every release of an album into 1 album and it's the main one. The music was pretty good, well rounded mix of tracks with a lot of flair, definitely feels of the era but it's a really nice collection of tracks. Couldn't really tell if there was a through line for them or anything.

Intro does a great job setting the vibe for the rest of the album, the reverb guitar really stands out. Some of the songs are a bit too sleepy.

Fantastic album, captures the spirit of the original style. Truly Mr.Beach Boy
