1001 Albums Summary

I can appreciate it but not really my thing. Probably shouldn't have listened while sitting in traffic.

Enjoyed this album. Crazy to hear all the tracks of his on here that have been sampled elsewhere into huge songs. I loved Contusion, it's basically a Steely Danier Steely Dan song. Easy Goin Evening is also a great little jazz transition closer

Wasn't crazy about the album, but I know if I was seeing this live I'd enjoy it much more

Overall liked the album. Would definitely listen again. Much more mellow than what one would think of as "punk rock." Like the reggae sounds as well

I had always heard how "genius" this album was so I was going in with high expectations. This was not at all what I was expecting, but in a great way. I have heard the greatest hits of TBBs countless times as a kid and have seen them live a long time ago, but this was so far from that sound. Surf rock, pop, and an orchestra so amazingly mixed together. Makes me think a bit of Metallica's S&M somewhat. Great album. Needs a couple relistens

I actually enjoyed this album a lot. Good ambient noise rock and some really interesting harmonies going on at times. I think this hit on my my jam band foundation a bit which is why I liked it more than the rest of the group.
