1001 Albums Summary

Pleasantly surprised. I'm always a bit wary of Dylan and his earnestness. Already knew Tangled Up In Blue, probably my favourite BD song, but bafflingly had never given the whole record a chance. Sonically, it's archetypal 70s folk rock; lyrically rich and it's understandable why it's held in such regard. Have moved this record into semi-regular rotation, having barely touched it since buying it 20 years ago.

Was nervous about returning to this one, as I suspect I'd overlistened to it in the past. I suspect that remains true, but it was a pleasant surprise even if it won't be back on heavy rotation.
