Some really nice tracks with soul and feeling, with a smattering of tracks that felt a bit like a over indulgent children's pantomime. Definitely hasn't made me feel like I would lose out for not ever hearing it.
I used to use this album as a sleep aid. Not touched it for years, but it still has that same effect. So for the purpose of winding down in the evening in bed, this fits the bill. It is pretty comfortably their best offering for this reason. Shiver and Spies are both pretty decent tunes. Probably the best on the album. 3/5
Honestly, it was a bit meh. I do like a lot of Bowie songs, but this album mad me feel like I was willing it to be good, but it just wasn't. 2/5
