Favorites: Under the Bridge, Naked in the Rain You guys aren't gonna like me for this one. I really didn't care for this album. I'm not a huge chilis fan to begin with, and what I do like is more of the laid back, surfing tunes (Californiacation). I thought a lot of these songs were hard to follow. That being said, there were a few songs I enjoyed and you can definitely still hear the chili's distinctive funk in most of the songs. I understand that this is a very important album, but I personally don't care for it. Upon a second listen, I did enjoy a few more of the songs in this album, but it still just didnt connect with me
Favorites: Cry Baby, Move Over Pretty standard stuff in here. Janis Joplin was and still remains an big figure of the 1970s. Most of the songs in this album convey that very well. Lots of 70s sound. I don't know, there's really not much to say. Nothing really stood out to me, but I didn't dislike it.
It's ok, the guitar is very well played, but there's really nothing to it. All the songs blend together and there's nothing distinctive. It's good background music I guess?
Black Sabbath? more like Black Midbbath, cause this album was mid. Its fine, pretty standard stuff, nothing jumped out at me
Really didn't like this one, all the songs sound exactly the same and the vocals range from whining to screaming. I also don't like being edgy for no reason, which is a lot of this album. Also what a weird collab, when I think of who would work with a band like Korn, I don't think about Ice Cube. His verses were low-key the best parts of the album though.
Favorites: These Early Days Pretty standard 80s pop. Not bad at all, but nothing stands out.
This one is pretty good. Lots of good songs. Good guitar playing. There's really not much to say, its another generic 70s/80s rock album
I liked this one, if I could give it 3.5 I would, but that rounds to 4, so here we are. I really liked all the interesting harmonies, almost gave some of the songs sort of an eerie vibe.
