In A Silent Way
Miles DavisIt all sounds very similar. It was very easy listening while eating dinner and would make a nice environment if people were over. Wish I could give it a 3.5/5

Love the trumpets. Everything is so conversational. It all starts to blend a bit as the album goes on.
Woah. The album art made me think I was going to get something Marilyn Manson-esk. The intro with the blues feel surprised me the. His voice surprised me even more with how deep and scratchy it was. The Jazzy songs I liked a lot (in shades). His rock songs I didn’t care for mostly because of his vocals. Mr. Siegal made me think I was watching a western movie while they’re in a saloon. I listen to a handful of other songs by him and they sounded nothing like this album I thought but he has produce a ton of music. Interesting listen but I don’t think it’s something I’ll ever go back to
Super fun album! I put it on for a party after hearing and it really makes a lively environment. Disco vibes. One of the songs I recognized from a Fergie song that was sampled.
Love the harmonicas and the double time drums on everything. Interesting lyrics. Felt older than 1996.
Seemed like it was going to get carried by Imagine for the first few songs. While I’m sure the lyrics were edgy at the time, he really didn’t say that much. But the longer I listened I did feel I got into a grove of the album. The Yoko song was wired
Quite the journey. Really needed to give it a chance. The music was good the lyrics were interpretive? It was fun figuring out what was going on.
It was groovy but overly sexual. And all about high school relationships. Felt kinda creepy tbh
This was fun and light. Not doing to much easy listening
One track minded. All sound pretty similar but really good. I imagine awesome live.
