Arcade FireSongs merge into each other. Tonally bland and uninspiring. In the Backseat was the standout track as it didnt have the lead singer on it.

Quite heavy on the distortion, would like a little respite every now and then. Anger seems to bleed into the performance, sending decently composed tracks into bustops full of nuns.
Ahead of its time. Lyrically relevant, Every track a classic and copied mercilessly.
Raw and angry.
large arrangements, lyrically smooth, veering on the side of easy listening. Incredile production for its time.
Generic. Easy listening for students.
I know this album from inside to out. It was a move towards the more hard edged sound that howlett wanted from the beginning. Getting away from the rave scene singalongs to using experimental cuts and beats. This album represents true creative freedom when not tied to shifting units.
old school hip hop, laced with clever lyrics
I know this album intimately, stand out tracks: the day I tried to live, spoonman and of course black hole sun. This was sound garden at their grungy bombastic best.
