1001 Albums Summary

It was ok. It wasn't anything special in my opinion with there being a few songs that actually annoyed me. Overall the feel was chill and low-key, nice to hear at times but bc of some of the annoying songs I will likely stay away from this album. 5/10

Album was good. When I heard it I thought hopeful Americana. I could see this being played around a campfire and just being around people you know. Its a comforting album. I liked it overall and believe that my favorite song was perhaps Babylon. 7/10

An iconic album to be sure but not one I had heard in its entirety until now. Overall an important album but not one of my favorites. I liked one or two songs so that is what I primarily liked but I felt that the topics sung about were rather repetitive and plus there was the addition of skits that I feel were unnecessary and cringy. Favorite song: Nuthin but a G Thang, 5/10

I mean a decent album but most of the songs sounded just like each other. There was a lack of diversity I think and there weren't any hidden gems in this album. The namesake and shook me all night were the only welcome songs. 4/10

To my ears it seemed very generic and not really something I enjoyed all too much. It's like something some random garage band out in the midwest could have come up with. Nothing really stood out. 4/10

I thought it was alright but then there came some songs that were too repettive and some that actually hurt my ears with the sound effects. Overall a background music kind of album, not really in a hurry to listen to it again. 4/10

Not a good album in my opinion, I believe personally that it was his attempt to be different and "alternative". I did not find any single song that was really grabbing my attention or I even liked one bit. For me it was a 1/10, just could not find anything to like.

I liked it for the most part but it was mostly a one-trick poney kind of deal for me. All of the songs were very similar to each other in my opinion. It was also a live performance which I tend to dislike as I don't want to hear the crowd. However you could only hear them when applauding at the end so it wasn't too distracting. Overall it was enjoyable but not my favorite. 5/10
