I don’t understand why anyone would think Bob Dylan live in concert is good. He isn’t.
I really think this is one of the most American records ever made. There are a lot of quintessential American music ideas on this album that combine to create an extremely soulful record you just wouldn’t see today.
I unironically love smooth jazz like Norah Jones writes here. It’s beautiful Melodie’s combined with very heartfelt lyrics. I could understand why some folks may not really appreciate this music, but I don’t think there’s anything to not like here.
I genuinely believe this is the only record anyone needs. The themes are just as poignant today as they were in 1973. It is an actual timeless classic.
