On The Beach
Neil YoungGood mix of blues and folk. Enjoyed probably more than any other Neil Young I've heard before as a whole album

Lyrically clunky but really heard influences on sound of Elliott Smith and others
Like listening to my least favourite Gram Parsons songs. Would be ok in the background in a cafe... not offensive but very much backgound music
All a bit 'meh'. Standout tracks - Love is a Wild Thing & Golden Hour Probably wouldn't listen to this again but nothing too bad either
Liked this a lot more than I would. Nice chilled out background music.. had it on while going through work emails. Standout track is the cover of 'You Are My Sunshine"
Liked this a hell of a lot more than I thought I would. Don't think I've ever listened to a Marianne Faithfull album before... Definitely pre-judged her and got it wrong
Love it. I knew I liked The Band but been a while since I'd had a listen to them, never mind a full album. Very happy this popped up.
Enjoyed it more than I thought I would.
A younger me would have liked this but found the dissonance quite stressful to listen to. May be different in the right mood, but had to stop halfway through this time
