Overall, not my style. Interesting concept overall, crimes of passion. Not a huge fan of the sort of talking over a rhythm section. There were a couple songs I liked: Where the Wild Roses Grow, The Curse of Millhaven.

Great album! In particular, I loved the electric, upbeat songs. Nowhere Fast was probably my favorite track. I also loved the theme of the last song. Very interesting and sort of spooky.

I mean, who doesn’t love Metallica? The addition of the San Francisco Symphony adds a whole other dimension to each song. Every song becomes a mash-up of a Metallica classic and the grandiose atmosphere of a video game soundtrack. Absolutely incredible album!

Just some classic folky, country-ish rock tracks. What’s not to like? With tracks generally about old Americana concepts, this can almost be a sort of concept album. Whether it is or not, it’s incredibly joyful and bouncy and fun to listen to!

The album with Blister in the Sun on it! That’s essentially all I knew about it before listening. Folk punk is a genre I really didn’t know existed, but it’s incredibly cool! The style of vocals on this album, half lazily talking and half singing, isn’t always up my alley, but it works very well here. Overall, the album is very fun and I enjoyed it a lot!
