Ready To Die
The Notorious B.I.G.
Sex, Drugs and Music. Represents the life of a large group of people during that time which, I think, is why it resonated so we'll with the rap community. The tunes are west coast style, fairly repetitive but easy to groove with. Lyrics hit a sweet spot.

Pink Moon
Nick Drake
Personally not a fan of the vocal pitch matching the instrument pitch and the some of the melodies/riffs were unpleasantly basic. I'm sure it was meaningful in it's hay day but I'm quite possibly spoiled by the perfection of modern music this album lacks.

L.A. Woman
The Doors
Ive heard Riders on the Storm many times but I didn't realize how diverse the album was as a whole. Great fundamental blues riffing that's shaken up by some unique psychedelic rock sections and melded together by Morrison's voice and Manzarek's on his Vox Continental.

The Beach Boys Today!
The Beach Boys
Listen to alot of beach boys over the years. You get what you get. Not particularly high on them anymore minus the Christmas album.

Arrival
ABBA
Very interesting to hear what accompanied Dancing Queen and Fernando. Not a huge fan of the style but I understand why people like it and why those hits are still played to this day.

Jazz poem rap. Cool concept and I relate to the artistic expression he's going for but the repetitive nature of the beat is boring musically.
