1001 Albums Summary

This album was not very good, I only made it through about 7 songs. Common People feels like it could kick ass live, but it was a little horny (but not in a good way) for my taste and I didn’t love the mix. It didn’t quite have _it_ to really be a class anthem that I want. Overall, meh. Not the worst I’ve ever heard but I wouldn’t go out of my way to listen. Best Song: Disco 2000 Worst Song: Pencil Skirt

This was a good listen. Never really dug into the Allman Brothers which kinda feels like a sin now, but I’m excited to hear a studio album. Was originally going to give a 3 given it’s a live set, but all the jamming brought the score up for me. Fun album.

I cannot believe how many songs I thought of that sampled from this album. Whole thing is a jam, this kicked ass. Easy 5.
