1001 Albums Summary

Long ass album. Double sided and nearly two hours. Kind of excessive for me personally. Production is immaculate. Legitimately sounds better then 90% of modern releases. I actually did a double check to see if it was a modern remix. Incredibly tight. Pastime Paradise caught me off guard lol. I knew Gangstas Paradise was a sample but I didn't realize the whole melody was lifted as well. Shameless. Honestly, the album sounds great but it's just not something I'm drawn to. It was kind of a drag for me to get through due to it's length. It's just not for me. All most too tight and perfect sounding for me as weird as that sounds. "Another Star" has an absolute banger rhythm section though.

Album definitely rips but tonally it's so one note with only a few exception. The songs really bleed into one another since they sound so similar.

Big Bowie vibes. I really enjoyed this album and it's a band I've never heard of so that's awesome. Great diversity in the songs.

Shorter album under forty minutes. I'm a fan of Dinosaur Jr. but this isn't my favorite album of theirs. Still enjoyable just not their best imo.
