One's enjoyment of this i think will live or die based on what they think of the vocals. Musically i really enjoyed what was going on here but that vibrato reaches levels of comical where i had to stop listening cause i couldn't take it seriously. Most notably on the tracks where they layer the vocals so you have double the vibrato making an almost white noise of incomprehensible warbling. That said, the tracks where the vibrato is toned down and especially the ones with guest vocalists are exceptionally pretty and are the only reason i am giving this a 2 instead of a 1.
Album was fine. I wouldn't complain if someone put it in at a party but i won't be listening to it again. Felt like the tracklist was severely lacking in diversity.
Tried really hard to give this album a fair shake going into it, having never particularly cared for Radiohead beyond a few songs. After a couple listens, it is a creative album for sure, with a few good tracks, and i can see why people would like it. That said i still walked away feeling like it was a bit of an overrated mess that went on way too long. Just has a vibe i dont want to stew in for close to an hour. This definitely isn't the worst album I've heard, there are some pretty decent songs I'll probably even come back to, but i seriously doubt I'll ever want to listen to the album as whole ever again.
Had heard a couple tracks by him before but never dove deeper. Not really the sort of thing i would have normally sought out, but I'm quite pleased i took the time to listen. Good stuff.
Wanted to like this one more than i did. Starts strong but i was getting real bored about 2/3rds of the way in.
Maybe a bit too folky for me at times but otherwise i thought this was pretty solid. If i was in a wind down mood i could see myself putting this on again at some point.
This was great and i will 100% put this on at a party in the future.

Rapping here is top notch, the minimalist beats and production, not a fan. I didn't hate listening to this album but i certainly wont be listening to it again.
Didn't like this sound back then and 20 years older that hasn't charged at all.
Saw another review saying something along the lines of this is a terrible introduction to Neil Young if you've never heard his work before and I'm inclined to agree. This is the first time I've ever tried to listen to an album by him and it was one of the most tediously boring listens since I've started on this website.
This one was odd. A track would start, I'd be really digging it then by about the 3/4th mark I'd be bored of it. There was a lot i liked but everything just kinda seemed to overstay its welcome. Probably won't revisit but i can totally see why he was such a big deal in the 90s.
Enjoyed this one. Will listen again.
Fine i guess? Without the context from the time the music here just doesnt hold up all that well. Not terrible by any means, not interesting either. At least the extremely short runtime ensures it doesnt overstay its welcome.
Grew up with my parents blasting this album lol. Not my favorite RHCP album but it is a classic. Holds up a lot better than i expected.

An early heavy metal album that has more in common with modern day desert rock than heavy metal but don't take that as a slight. This album has a killer groove running through it and i am all for it. Having only heard the big tracks from Deep Purple i was pleasantly surprised how much i really loved this album. Definitely earned its spot on my classic rock playlist.
I dont like GOOD reggae at the best of times and this album isnt even that. How this album ended up on this list is completely beyond me.
Just a mediocre britpop album. Not atrocious by any means but nothing worth mentioning. The musical equivalent of stale donuts at a convenience store.
Classic hard rock album
Fine enough i suppose. Didn't really stick with me in any way.
