1001 Albums Summary

Rio and Hungry Like the Wolf were certified bops that I haven’t heard in awhile. The rest of the songs feel a little repetitive and drawn out. A good album, it reminds me of playing gta vice city. It has those 80’s Miami vibes on the more upbeat songs.

Pretty generic album for late ‘90s grunge. I like the instrumentation on half of the album, and the lyrics are just okay, but I really dislike the vocals from Courtney Love.

Wanted more of Ray Charles voice. Not into the big band stuff

The flow is insane on this album. I feel that an album that is meant to be listened to in order throughout is a dying art and was revived with this one. Kanye West's best album in my opinion and one of the best rap albums of all time. There is a reason why this album always comes up in top 10 lists.

Very good lyrical flow and I like the cinematic feeling that it gives the listener. Highlights are "Liquid Swords", and "4th Chamber".
