Hello has cool guitar tones but overall feels like somewhat of a nothing-burger. the loudness is cool but it stays the same throughout the entire thing and it gets kind of exhausting Roll With It has a cool chorus and good melodies. The middle point and the bridge add some cool psychedelic guitar tones and rhythms to spice things up. already better than track one I went into the Wonder wall with an open mind and realized the song has some nice lush textures to it. It's still a song I'm not crazy of how overplayed it is and the vocal melodies during the verses can get kind of annoying though I can appreciate this song more now. The guitar melodies in the background of the pre-choruses are easily my favorite thing about this track Don't Look Back In Anger starts sounding like a britpop version of John Lennon imagine except it actually becomes a decent song next. The beautiful chord progressions, interesting lyrics, beautiful outro, and lush instrumentals make this my favorite track so far. Hey Now! almost feels like a shoegaze song with the gliding guitars in the intro and the chorus, and the lyrics are some of my favorite on the album so far. Has some of the best guitar playing and the dense textures add a lot of warmth. Favorite song so far. I don't have much to say Swamp song excerpt 1 since its a 40 second interlude but its a fine interlude I guess. Some Might Say is just kind of a mid rock song. I don't really have much to say about it. similar issues to Hello. Far too long for it's own good. Feels like they didn't know how to end it so they just let it go on for a minute too long and fade out. Cast No Shadow is a pretty cool dreamy low-key track with some cool lyrical imagery. The sliding guitar in the background adds a lot of texture. She's electric has a gorgeous dreamy intro but borders on bland for the rest of the length. kind of a forgettable track though. Morning Glory suffers from similar issues to Some Might Say except with better instrumentation and better melodies. Not a track I plan on returning to but improves over some of the duds in the tracklist and works well within the flow of the album. Champagne supernova is by far the best track on the album. Combined with the best writing, song structure, atmosphere, and instrumentation on the entire album it is just a joy to listen to. amazing finish.
