1001 Albums Summary

I don't think highly of rap in general, and honestly this album has only reinforced that belief. There's no way for me to appreciate the actual music properly when the lyrics are so terrible. Definitely an album that hasn't aged well.

At first this album seemed promising, but it seemed to drag on a bit and the songs seemed a bit too similar to my liking. Could be a lot more enjoyable if a few songs were cut

I've been a fan of QOTSA for a couple of years now but for some reason I'd never listened to their debut the full way through before. Regular John, If Only and Mexicola are stand outs to me. Overall it's a very solid album, although some songs were a little boring in places. Definitely doesn't come close to ... Like Clockwork, but definitely an enjoyable album regardless.

I've never fully listened to a reggae album before, and if not for this challenge I probably never would have. But this album was actually pretty decent. Probably not something I'd listen to again but it was cool to experience
