1001 Albums Summary

An era defining masterpiece from the band of the 90s. Just great fun from start to finish.

This is a strong debut album. I just knew the hits up to now but there isn’t a bad track on it. Like a lot of pop it was possibly under-estimated but now we can see how wonderful it was to have that great era from the 50s to the 90s.

Of its time perhaps but sounds dull to my ears. An early 70s vibe that maybe the album influenced. Clearly these are talented people but it just doesn’t do anything for me as an album.

A classic for the ages. A great album from start to finish.

Very atmospheric and enjoyable. What a great voice.
