Nothing really to say, other than I'm not really a Beck fan. I didn't connect with this album and therefore found it boring. The standout tracks were cool though. "Paper Tiger" feels like it's been slapped on with an orchestral filter, which on its own sounds great, but a bit awkward on top of Beck's performance. And "Round the Bend" sounds like a villain movie trailer theme song. 2.25/5
Can definitely tell this isn't as gripping as it would be to those with nostalgia for this album. Also, the ending track has this annoying pitch that drives me up the wall! (I was listening to the 2016 remastered version, for those wondering) with all that said, "Australia" was my favorite track - I think it has a melodic, hard rock sound to it that I like.
