Track 1: Everlasting Light I love the little honk sounds in the beginning. Idk if that’s a synth but i like it. The instrumental is really cool and the guitars sound so crunchy. The echoey sound on the singers voice, i really like. I like his voice I think. Great opener to the album. Track 2: Next Girl Omg I love these wah wah noises!! That’s a guitar I’m pretty sure. I’ve never heard a guitar make those kinds of sounds. This song gives a beer commercial vibe with motorcycles and in a bar. With a pretty girl. This song is about the singer not wanting to date another girl similar to his ex. He relates the pain of making mistakes in past relationships. This is a good song. It’s quite vibey. Track 3: Tighten Up This song opens with tambourines and whistles. This song is giving especially indie hipster vibes. I cannot even explain it. This song is good. It is poppy and bluesy. It is just quite plain honestly. This song ends with a slow chilled out bridge. There’s still a lot of echo on this guys voice. Not to mention I love the reverb at the end. Track 4: Howlin’ For You Oh god I have heard this song in a commercial before💀 I knew this band felt familiar in some way. It might be a car or a restaurant commercial, I can’t remember. I like this song but I cannot stop thinking about the fact that I’ve heard this song before. I love the kazoo. This is very commercial worthy and has a lot of filler moments ie: ladadada ladadada x5 anyway this song is fine. Track 5: She’s Long Gone This song is about a woman who is “not like other girls” quite literally that is the lyric in the song. She’s sang about like every man writing a woman like she’s a goddess running through a field of daisies. This song is fine but I can’t get over the NLOG lyric. I like the crunchy guitar reverb. Track 6: Black Mud All these songs sound oddly familiar but not the same at all. They resemble the same motorcycle-bar-girl energy that I talked about in song 2. This song… has no lyrics? I just realized that. Ok, interlude song I guess. That was good lol. Track 7: The Only One I like this keyboard sound. The lyrics are really plain and vague. There is nothing wrong with them necessarily, but they sound like AI generated lyrics. This song is fine. It’s kind of boring but chill. Snore. Track 8: Too Afraid To Love Woo I have a lot of songs to get thru still. I like this songs instrumental. This is about feeling lonely but not actually wanting to love somebody. Felt. This song is very melancholy like an empty room. Track 9: Ten Cent Pistol This song is about a woman with a gun(?) first thing I thought was “girl boss”. That song was ok. Once again I say I like the instrumental. Ohh she got revenge. Defo girl boss moment there. Track 10: Sinister Kid Ok this has a not like other guys feel to it. I like the guitars. Track 11: The Go Getter Omg I’m bored. Every song sounds the same. Track 12: I’m Not The One Hhhhhhnnnn great background music for scrolling Reddit Track 13: Unknown Brother I like this song actually. It sounds different from the other ones I’ve heard in the last 15 minutes. Track 14: Never Gonna Give You Up I like this one a lot! It feels like a middle school dance but not as dorky. Or wait no, more like a party in a movie where the love interests stare into each others eyes. This song is a lot about the vibe. It’s so sparkly sounding. Fav song. Track 15: These Days I also like this one. It is similar to the previous song but i like that other one better. This song isn’t as dreamy.

Track 1: So You Want to Be a Rock ‘N’ Roll Star This song opens with sounds that resemble armpit farts. There’s a lot of chaos with horns, children screaming, and a mediocre song. Sounds like diet Beach Boys. Track 2: Have You Seen Her Face The lyrics describe the way wattpad explains what eyes look like. This is fine. I like the guitar solo. This song is like the typical 60s pop that you think of. Track 3: C.T.A. - 102 This is a little radio opening kind of song. It has little beep boops. It’s kinda annoying. Oh those are aliens. I was so confused. Track 4: Renaissance Fair I like this song. The vocals are cool and the instrumentals are groovy. I could casually listen to this. Track 5: Time Between This song is fine. It’s a country bumpkin sounding campfire song. Track 6: Everybody’s Been Burned Good song to fall asleep to. Great guitar work. Track 7: Thoughts and Words This is another boring song. I think I just heard someone light a joint. Track 8: Mind Gardens Snooooore. I like the weird backwards reverb sound. Nvm, the beeps get so annoying. Track 9: My Back Pages I like the guitar work on this song. I actually think the lyrics are interesting. Idk what they’re about. Track 10: The Girl With No Name I like this. It’s poppy and makes me wanna skip. This is nice sounding. Track 11: Why Idk what this song is about. Honestly thought it was a pedo song at first. This is ok Track 12: It Happens Each Day This is chill. I don’t have much to say abt it. Track 13: Don’t Make Waves Ok this is straight up Beach Boys. They are talking about the BEACH. Track 14 and 15 are the couple of songs I already heard Track 16: Lady Friend This is ok lol. Beach boys vibe again. Track 17: Old John Robertson Another bumpkin song.
Track 1: He’s the Greatest Dancer This is groovy. I like the lyrics and this song a lot. It does get really repetitive over time. Track 2: Lost in Music This is fine. Sounds like a more toned down We Are Family. Track 3: Somebody Loves Me This is a ballad, but sad. It’s very nice. Track 4: Thinking of You So far, so many of these songs sound the same. This is an okay song. Just disco music Track 5: We Are Family This is the title track and is simply the best song on this album. It stands out and just possesses so much diversity in sound. Compared to the other songs. Track 6: Easier to Love This song is ok. I’m honestly just bored. Track 7: You’re a Friend to Me Once again, this song is mediocre. Not much stands out to me. Track 8: One More Time I like this one. It’s simple but catchy. I love the guitar solo. (Skipping the remixes)
Track 1: Intro This album opens with a coin flip sound effect. Kinda cool. I’m glad it isn’t lengthy Track 2: What Up Gangsta This song is insanely violent to the point where I’m just gonna skip it. Track 3: Patiently Waiting That little random horn in the background suuuucks. This song isn’t as bad as the last one. Eminem carried this one. Track 4: I like the beat, but boy the lyrics are so macho violent. Similar to track 2 Track 5: In Da Club This one is a classic honestly. The beat is amazing. The flow is good too. This song does get old fast tho Track 6: High All The Time I like the beat, but I don’t care about the lyrics at all. Track 7: If I Can’t Another violent song but the beat is nice. Track 8: Blood Hound I unironically love the drippy fart sounds in the back. Beat is great. 50’s flow is good but the lyrics are what you’d expect. Young Buck is a good feature on this track. Dog bark sounds. Track 9: Back Down “My flow is bonkers” This is some clowny writing. Even the beat is kinda silly. This manages to flex how #gangsta you are but makes you come off like a kid. Track 10: P.I.M.P. Steel drum.mp3 love that steel drum though. The beat is lovely but the lyrics… atrocious Track 11: Like My Style This is bad. Track 12: Poor Lil Rich This song is about being rich and talking about how you used to not be rich. It’s lazy and there is no emotion behind it. Track 13: 21 Questions Oh I like this beat so far. Sounds a little… beachy. I like the beat. Lyrics are awful. “I love you like a fat kid love cake” funny but okay 😃 Track 14: Don’t Push Me Yay Eminem is back. I skipped to his part. All these songs give the same exact message. It was old from the beginning. Track 15: Gotta Make It To Heaven This is just goofy-violence-flexing. More horn sound effects 💀 Track 16: Wanksta Oh geez. This is a song dedicated to some “poser” 50 was not a fan of. This beep boop beat silly. Track 17: U Not Like Me This has the same message as that last song but without the stupid beat. Track 18: Life’s On The Line Ugh beat is good but yeah, same lyrics
Track 1: Move Any Mountian I like the beat but the vocals are boring and uninteresting. I like the rap from the guy I. The second verse. Track 2: Human NRG (Massey) Once again, the beat is nice. A bit trancey. There are some beep boops here and there. Not much singing from the vocalist. Track 3: Possible Worlds: Deep PSI Beat sounds good. There’s a silly little synth that comes in and there some reverb or a sort of vocal effect. I think it sounds cool. Mostly the same thing the whole way thru Track 4: Omega Amigo This is ok. I like the guys vocals. Track 5: Evil Is Even Too much going on here Track 6: Hyperreal Orbit I like this beat a lot. Track 7: Lightspan This is plain. Has a little piano. Track 8: Make It Mine I don’t like these guitars at all💀 also the vocalist sounds so awkward as if he wasn’t prepared to sing. This song tries to add a rock element to this album but it fails horribly. It just sounds out of place and cheesy. Track 9: Oxygen Restriction I don’t like this whispering. Sounds kinda eerie. I like that part of the song. Track 10: Hear Me Okay beat. I’m just bored Track 11: 666 Edit I like this one. Production is very cool sounding and the progression is nice. I like the vocal effects. Gets annoying after a while with the production tho Track 12: Make It Minimal Boring Track 13: Hyperreal Selector Nice beat. Track 14: Lightspan Soundwave There’s a little slide whistle sounding noise that is the most annoying thing I have ever heard. I don’t like it just for that. Track 15: Progen 91 (In The Land Of Oz) The vocalist talks again about moving mountains and this song is like all the other songs. Every song blends together and none of them have their own unique sound.
Fantastic. I didn’t make a listening log of this one because I wanted to experience it without making notes
Track 1: Coat of Many Colors Dolly has such a beautiful voice. I never realized how truly amazing her vocals sound. This song is so sweet. It illustrates growing up poor and showing immense love for a coat her mom made her. Basically says riches don’t mean anything Track 2: Traveling Man This one’s about Dolly sneaking out with a man and not telling her mother. Little did Dolly know, her mom was also seeing the same guy. 💀It’s a bit humorous Track 3: My Blue Tears A sad little song about breaking up with a guy. Tending to your own sadness and pity while everyone else is happy. Track 4: If I Lose My Mind In this song, Dolly tells her mother that the man she loved is not a good person. It could represent your family sticking by your side when other people treat you wrong. Track 5: The Mystery Of The Mystery This song is about wondering about life’s questions and believing no one but God would know those answers. Track 6: She Never Met A Man (She Didn’t Like) This is a message to a man who supposedly loves a woman who loves all the other men, implicating that she isn’t loyal to her partner or would be easily swayed. Dolly loves this man. It is like a warning. Track 7: Early Morning Breeze This is a pretty song about appreciating the earth. Track 8: The Way I See You I adore the instrumentation on this song. Similar to the last song Track 9: Here I Am This song reaches out with a desperation for someone to love and shows how she would be in a relationship. Really beautiful song. Track 10: A Better Place To Live I like the lyrics, but over time the songs start to sound really similar
Track 1: Subterranean Homesick Blues Is this supposed to be.. singing? He’s just sing talking. I don’t even know what he’s going on about. The lyrics are wacky and I guess they’re about obeying rules or something. Harmonica steals the show. Track 2: She Belongs to Me This song is about a woman that just stands out and is so independent, she’ll blow a man away with her spirit and energy. Sounds like this girl has a main character mentality. Harmonica once again steals the show. Track 3: Maggie’s Farm Bob Dylan doesn’t want to work for Maggie or any of her family members. What is the point of this song again? It’s so goofy but is probably the most enjoyable of the songs I have heard so far. Mr. Dylan doesn’t like working hard labor, I guess. I wish it was that easy, man. I feel like I’ve heard this song before somewhere.. Track 4: Love Minus Zero A love song about a woman that is just so perfect and sounds like a girl that doesn’t even exist. It’s way too disconnected from the lyrics to be genuine or sweet. Every single song sounds very similar. Basic guitar chords, harmonica solo, and some mediocre singing if you could call it that. Track 5: Outlaw Blues I am not sure what this song is about. This sounds a bit more funky than the other songs. Strumming is faster and is catchy but the lyrics are not good. Then he goes on about a “brown skinned girl” he has. Why did he have to include that? Track 6: On the Road Again Harmonica back at it again. This song is goofy-silly-funny-outrageous. It’s fine. Harmonica goes massively hard. Track 7: Bob Dylan’s 115th Dream Oh god why is this song SIX MINUTES long?! I don’t know if I can sit through this. The laughing fit at the beginning was contagious, i gotta admit. This song has the best storytelling. If you can keep up with the story though. I’m assuming this is about a dream he had..? Track 8: Mr. Tambourine Man This song is much more slow and soft. I like it. Track 9: Gates of Eden Idk what Bob Dylan’s going on about in this song, but it surely has nothing to do with the Bible. Maybe he’s talking about heaven perhaps. This song is boring. Track 10: It’s Alright, Ma (I’m Only Bleeding) Another 6 minute long song. It’s very sing songy without much singing. I like the lyrics. Sounds like hopelessness and he is singing to his mother about how he feels. Track 11: It’s All Over Now, Baby Blue This higher range singing is not very fit for his voice. It just sounds high pitched and irritating.
