I understand it’s foundational, but it just doesn’t lend itself to my ear. Nothing redeeming here, from lyrics to instrument work to vocals.

Exceptional launch into the rest of their career. “Hard to Handle” gets all the notice here, as their first single, but one should never overlook “She Talks to Angels”, a window into the future of their songwriting chops

Overplayed and overhyped. JBJ was a better actor than musician

Seminal album, explores telhe depth of the band and some silly moments as well. Guitar is just spot on across the tracks, and Ringo really shows his chops.
