Amazing lyrically. The beats have this ability to sound old school and influenced by blues bars from the 60s whole also being ingenious and unlike anything you've heard before. Song 2 is where it all kicks off. Lovesick also slaps
Interchanging singers gives this album an eclectic feel but the organic instruments keep it linked together. King Harvest, Unfaithful servant, Drive old Dixie down and Cripple creek are such well crafted songs
For the amount that they have going on in each song, it does make for easy listening. Wasn't sure what I'd make of a Queen album but hoped for a bit more of a narrative. You can tell they were just beginning to find their sound. It's raw with the high range vocal harmonies and the driving guitar sound is a little bit toned down.
A bit much but he's a lyrical gebius
Unbelievable for what it is and when it was made.
Not great
