1001 Albums Summary

i don’t really care much for singer-songwriter stuff so it’s a bit difficult for me to gauge this on its own merits within the genre. but the jazzy current was really nice and i think this album was strongest where it leaned into it hardest. aside from that her incredible voice was the biggest hook in this album. i enjoyed the variety of intensities and moods she covers here, but to be honest none of the tracks really grabbed me. highlights: slow like honey, carrion

i don't have anything good or bad to say about this album. it sure is some songs that some guys made. Take Me Out is good of course, and the rest of it is there too. rating low because it's remarkable that even one person thought this was an album that you have to listen to before you die. it has the same ambience as being dead.
