Fela KutiGood background listening if in the mood for some jazzy sax and horn repetitions. Not a style or genre for continuous listening, definitely feels of the 70's.

Good Latin mambo and Big Band flair, I'm a sucker for the horn blasts and solos. A timeless sound, and even as a non-Spanish speaker the overall sound and vocals land well.
This feels like some legendary Latin music, When De Camino a La Verda hits its groove the album really gets going. Still not a genre for me to daily listen, but in the right mood or atmosphere, this is fantastic.
Roadhouse Blues is just a classic and just a fantastic way to open the album. This is the music I can listen to all the time. All of the opening tracks bring energy and feel like classic grooves. The album has some peaks and valleys, but overall a great listen.
I listen to all these albums without context unless I previously have context, and while I enjoyed this album, I feel like it could really benefit from being in the time and place it came from. Water with the Wine really hit a 'timeless' feel for me. Love and Affection isn't quite my jam, but it's definitely a jam.
Has a distinct mid-90's Alt-Rock feel. Atmospheric vocals layered on flowing guitar and beats.
This is some legendary hip hop. Deep, funky, varied beats from start to finish. 'Heat' and 'The Light' are the first songs to jump out at me.
Classic legendary rock, capped off with Layla.
Fun irish spin on old school punk.
