I love sad stuff and this sounds like the kinda song I'm gonna put on twice because the first time didn't hurt me enough. Well maybe three times because Till Tomorrow was so short. Overall it's only iconic because of two songs and most of the other stuff isn't nearly as strong to hold interest over repeat listens.

Let's Get It On by Marvin Gaye
Mar 07 2023

Overall a very strong album. The only problem is that I'm constantly comparing it to "What's Going On" which I feel is the superior album. That being said, this album is PURE sex. I finished it and found myself smoking a cigarette and I don't even own a pack. It's THAT good.

Excellent album with such a fun energy. He knows how to work the audience and they eat it all up. This makes me wish that newer groups would record live albums in the same fashion. They always want to make it perfect with a lot of polish and shine but it tends to lose out on the raw and visceral feeling of seeing it live.

Giant Steps by The Boo Radleys

I don't hate it as much as others. There were some really good moments in this album and I give them points for taking a swing at a lot of different styles. It doesn't always work but when it does it's...pretty good.
