Sign 'O' The Times
Prince
I skipped over this part of the Prince catalog back when I checked him out previously, jumping from 'Purple Rain' straight to '3121' and 'ART OFFICIAL AGE'.
'Housequake' and 'Adore' are the two songs that stand out to me most.
I don't really see how this is the Magnum Opus of the Prince catalog, like others claim, but I wasn't in existence in 1987 so maybe you had to be there.
My headphones might not be doing a good enough job isolating the terrible construction noises going on in my building today to handle showcasing this album to the fullest.

The title track was the best song by what felt like a large margin.
Every song seems to be a love song.
I'm guessing this is from the boy band era of the Beatles?

Very enjoyable listen from start to finish, a short funk-filled 37 minute experience.

I came into this expecting something similar to Kyuss or QOTSA because I had heard the band worked with Josh Homme a bunch, but never checked them out. This comes across a lot more chill than I expected.
- my favorite song from the album is probably "Make my Mind"
- Really didn't expect a random organ/synth solo in "Sworn and Broken"

'Mountain Song' and 'Jane Says' are the stand out tracks for me, but the whole album was a very enjoyable listen.

The Verve
I searched out this album ages ago purely for "Bitter Sweet Symphony", but I didn't remember much of the actual album outside of that track and "The Drugs Don't Work".
