1001 Albums Summary

Was unaware they did a song based on the Prisoner series. Knew most of these songs before and saw them live before. Better production than I'd expect for early 80's. Maybe the remaster cut some of that 80s verb off the drums? Children of the Damned is another stand out.

Pretty boring. Rock should have jagged edges and be able to hear the musicians punching above their weight. Everything is so smooth and in the pocket it hits like elevator music.

Solid record. Knew most of the songs before. Nice to hear together.

Great singer. Strings produced this way always sound schmaltzy to me. No hate but the music passes through without any real resonance.
