Tommy by The Who
Mar 09 2023

I liked it way more than I thought I would; once I learned that the album is a detailed story I could start to pick up on certain motifs in either lyrics or musical repetitions. Its fascinating how they made the lyrics work with the music and just how clean it all came out.

Tusk by Fleetwood Mac
Mar 10 2023

I read the wiki on this one and read, "You got that sweetness [from Nicks and McVie] and me as the complete nutcase," Buckingham observed. "That's what makes us Fleetwood Mac." .. so I was expecting some wild tunes, but this was the most docile album I've heard in a while. I really like Fleetwood Mac and Stevie Nicks' voice is amazing. I could listen to this album at just about anytime.

Bayou Country by Creedence Clearwater Revival
Mar 13 2023

I thought kicking off with Bayou was bold but then the album kept producing great songs.

Electric Warrior by T. Rex
Mar 16 2023

Hate to be too harsh on this album, it's good, but it sounds like every other 70s album on here. Having trouble finding distinct differences that make a T.Rex or Curtis Mayfield stand out.

Pyromania by Def Leppard
Mar 30 2023

- I like Too Late for Love - Listening to it without the culture and other influences of the 80s in concert makes it difficult to appreciate the overall album, I think. Everything I listen to these days is so different than 80's rock I think it's tough for me to compare the impact of this album to something I'm more aligned to. I definitely need to be in a mood in order to appreciate it.

Rid Of Me by PJ Harvey
Mar 31 2023

She definitely rocks. Would be a fun show live I bet!
