Brothers by The Black Keys
May 19 2023

I didn't like this album. It's supposed to be a kind of tribute to classic rock and blues, but there's very little of that. It feels as if it was made based on what someone assumes rock and blues should be, but they've never really listened to these genres. The production is nice and it has some interesting moments, but overall, it's quite bland

In Utero by Nirvana
May 22 2023

I have mixed feelings about this album. At times, it seems like a stroke of genius, but at other times, it becomes unbearably repetitive. I believe that in the end, Nirvana's contribution works more as a cultural movement than as a musical contribution, as it ultimately ends up being like a kind of Punk 2.0

The Gershwin Songbook by Ella Fitzgerald
May 23 2023

I was surprised by Ella Fitzgerald's voice. I was expecting a more powerful voice typical of black singers, but instead, I found a soft and captivating voice that I really enjoyed. As for the music, I only listened to the version of 'The Very Best,' so overall, it just serves as pleasant background accompaniment
