On first listen: Quite good, not totally my thing but I'll listen through again and add the best ones to my playlist.

I quite liked this, title track especially. Some standout really good songs but mostly kinda bland and samey.

I want to rate this higher but it's just so unsatisfying having every song fade out at the end. It seems a little behind the times as well, I wouldn't have guessed this was from the 60s.

I like the sound but the album is overall a bit boring

There's only 5 rating options so this is being lenient with the 5 star rating. I have no shame in admitting it's a banger of an album though. The bass lines absolutely make it and the drum fills are fun. Probs 9/10

"Transylvania Blues" is by far the best song. More of this and less of the Tesco value Johnny Cash. The 1st half of the album has a sound I really enjoy but is so intensely boring The 2nd half of the album gets a bit more interesting and fun but just doesn't sound that great.

A lot of bangers in this one. Surprised myself by knowing a lot of them even though I've never intentionally listened to Aretha Franklin.
