Parallel Lines by Blondie
Aug 01 2023

Liked: one way or another, fade away and radiate, 11:59, sunday girl, heart of glass, im gonna love you too, just go away pretty baby is a really creepy song (look up the backstory and you'll see why) overall an album with an ok first half and a phenomenal second half

Pet Sounds by The Beach Boys
Aug 02 2023

Starts off w/ Wouldn't It Be Nice, a classic track. A few weaker tracks follow before I'm pleasantly surprised by such songs as I'm Waiting for the Day, Sloop John B and Here Today. Overall a pleasant album where I can see myself re-listening to at least half of the songs

Innervisions by Stevie Wonder
Aug 03 2023

Not a single dud on the entire album. Definitely worth revisiting. Best tracks are Too High and Living for the city

Eliminator by ZZ Top
Aug 05 2023

Feels like I was listening to the same song over and over again; ZZ Top is good enough on this to make this a tolerable listen but not much more. Doesn't feel like this album tries to push any boundaries Stand out tracks were Legs and TV Dinners 2/5

Different Class by Pulp
Aug 05 2023

Really good 4 first songs, I like the "eat the rich" narrative, esp on "Common People." Like the pro-drug "Sorted for E's and Wizz" The album has some nice closers with "Monday Morning" and "bar Italia" I like how these songs address the monotony of life in the 90's and even now, it goes to show how well this album has aged 4/5
