would i recommend ? : i would recommend songs from this over the actual album , but if i knew someone was alt / indie / rock fan i would.
other: i really love the two different vocals in this album. while the songs don’t sound outstandingly different from one another instrumentally , they all still sound pretty good and are quite catchy. the theme and sound of the album matches really well , you wouldn’t confuse any of the songs to be in a different album or made by any other artists. i’ve been listening to monkey gone to heaven for a few months before i listened to the album in full so i had high hopes and they were almost met ( dead , hey and wave of mutilation didn’t really impress me compared to the rest ). i wish i could sing like that.

other: i’ve never listened to deep purple before. sounds like your average 70s rock which i love. the vocals are a bit quiet. i don’t like when albums have remixes on them or whatever the studio chats are called. overall its really good and ill listen again.
