A Love Supreme by John Coltrane
Aug 17 2023

17.08.23. What a buzzy way to start, it’s 12.20am on a Thursday morning after a long day at work, and I’m lying in bed after hearing about this website on Reddit. I don’t really know anything about John Coltrane, and a phone speaker isn’t the best way to listen, but I don’t dislike it. Woah he just started singing. That’s cool.

Led Zeppelin IV by Led Zeppelin
Aug 18 2023

17.08.23 it’s kind of still the same day as the first album but that was at 1am, so here I am at 7pm that evening with number 2. Led Zep 4, dope. I will listen to this while missing LP (but I see her in Melbourne tomorrow!), and writing this Milldale board paper. Done, forgot it had Stairway on there, and Going to California. Good shit.

Station To Station by David Bowie
Aug 23 2023

23.08.23 - I almost missed this, but thought I should listen as I already missed Are You Experienced. I'm not familiar with Station to Station, but it has Golden Years on it. I've arrived late to work, but LP is coming home today, and I am so excited! I can't wait. The opening line of Station to Station is "The Return of the Thin White Duke..."....that's cool! I'm three songs in, its quite different to other albums I've listened - I can't put my finger on it, almost ballard-esque? Ok, I've played it the whole way though, the song Station to Station was definitely the best, followed by Golden Years, not sure I like the rest that much though

Led Zeppelin II by Led Zeppelin
Aug 24 2023

25.08.23 - great album, listened to it on the way to work. Such good whisky drinking rock n roll. Love ramble on.

Aug 28 2023

25.08.23 - a modern classic that I don’t think I’ve ever listened to the whole way through. Guess what, just bought another piece of land at Milldale (Lot 5006). Right here right now, so good. The strings and that driving beat, so iconic. LP made me a delicious sandwich today, I think it was actually perfect. Prosciutto, gherkin, cheese (cheddar?) and mustard, on baguette. Yum. I love her so much.

Aug 29 2023

Great opening track, such a good baseline. Actually all the songs so far have had a great beat, so classic. Writing the PCG report that is outlining the 231 FBSR bridge cost, man I really want this sorted. I’m just hoping I don’t cry in the meeting. I won’t, we’ll I cant, but I’m sure I will feel like it. LP is in CHCH again, I miss her so much, but I’m so happy she is doing this. It’s great how positive it is making her feel about Beyond. And she’ll be ready to nail once we get back from Europe. Left my wallet in El Segundo just came on, so good.

Axis: Bold As Love by Jimi Hendrix
Aug 30 2023

30.08.23 I only listened to a couple of songs on this. Such a buzzy intro with a radio sample, but I didn’t dislike it. Such a cool voice. I’m at Neighbour cafe waiting for a long black

Rattus Norvegicus by The Stranglers
Aug 31 2023

31.08.23 - I only listened to 2 songs of this, didn’t hate it!

I Should Coco by Supergrass
Sep 01 2023

02.09.23 - listened on my way to work. I can see why it’s in this list, classic Brit pop. A few songs I will go back and listen to!

The Blueprint by JAY Z
Sep 04 2023

03.09.23 - This was cooler than I thought, it had that song Izzo on it, which is a classic. I need to revisit this
