Dookie by Green Day
Sep 03 2023

Right off the first listen each song is very catchy and sounds like any of them could be a smash radio song. Each song has u tapping ur foot to the great drums and Armstrongs lead vocals which are hypnotizing in a way that keeps you engaged. The way he sings sound’s aesthetically pleasing. When you hear him singing and waiting for him on the next line you want him to sing in a certain way that would fit perfectly and he does that. The drums on the album are fantastic and so frantic but it doesn’t sound out of touch with the guitar and vocals. Almost like all of the songs sound the same but not really because it’s not becoming boring or unlistenable or even asking yourself if you’re on a different song. My favorite song is welcome to paradise and my least favorite is all by myself.

Parachutes by Coldplay
Sep 04 2023

I like this album as it’s a real look into the best of Coldplay. It’s their debut and in my opinion they’re best. They really hit hard with songs like don’t panic shiver and trouble. It’s a nice easy going indie rock pop album to listen to. Also almost every song is about a relationship or love so it get a bit repetitive. Good album but nothing standing out to make it a 5/5.
