1001 Albums Summary

I really like the way that this record flows and the random live track towards the middle/beginning of the album. That one is my favorite.

The album art is a wild choice, it goes so hard. Doesn't sound like the music at all to me which is what I like. The swells on "Whirly-Bird" are incredible. When the band trades fours on "Fantail" I lit up, the drum break is wild. As far as production, it reminds me almost of "Bo Diddley's Beach Party," where it's just ever-so-slightly blown out. It's a captivating record.
