A dated affair with some timeless hits sprinkled in.

I love the vibe here. Several songs are mood emulators and less full tracks and that does pull back from some otherwise great duo vocal space surf gloom.

I like crunchy Bowie best and this whole era is him defining himself by muted powerchords. Let’s bring back palm-muted powerchords.

Supertramp seems to write a pop song for every indulgent b-side and this album is no stranger to the rule. I’m a super fan.

The band was never better and somehow they did damn near everything here.
