1001 Albums Summary

Mostly instrumental and repetitive. No bangers.

Alice Cooper is weird music for weird people. Half of these songs follow the same formula: “Blah blah blah CATCHPHRASE! Something else CATCHPHRASE!” Repeat for 4 minutes. The two good songs, No More Mr. Nice Guy and Mary Ann are mostly good because of the instruments and not Cooper’s vocals. I wonder if these songs would be better if they were sung by someone else.

Instruments were wonderful and each song was really catchy. Almost ruined by an unintelligible lead vocal. Definitely can’t sing along to most of these without pulling up the lyrics. Found myself wishing it was Franz Ferdinand, instead (The band, not the assassinated archduke.)
