Blackstar by David Bowie
Oct 06 2023

It's a dark album, but fantastically good. Beautiful and evocative. I may be reading to much into it, but I feel a definite sense of finality and his impending passing on. When ever I listen to this album it makes me a little sad, and reminds me of all the people I've lost, dredging up the sadness I still feel surrounding their passing.

Led Zeppelin by Led Zeppelin
Oct 09 2023

Probably like a lot of people, this album was not how I discovered Led Zeppelin. The first album of theirs I ever heard was Led Zeppelin 2. I only heard this album later. To be honest, I haven't listened to it for years, but hearing it again was great. There were all sorts of subtleties that I had either forgotten about or only discovered now. A great, bluesy Led Zeppelin album.

Parklife by Blur

It's okay. Didn't really grab me. Has some good songs on it.

Pretenders by Pretenders
Oct 11 2023

Some elements on here I really like. Chrissy Hynde has a lovely voice. instantly recognisable. There are some songs on here that don't really seem to be sure what they want to be. But also some lovely tracks that do.

Exodus by Bob Marley & The Wailers
Oct 12 2023

An exceptional album. So many good songs. I've felt for a long time that one of Bob Marley's strengths was that he was a fantastic song writer.
