1001 Albums Summary

i wish i appreciated this album more, but maybe i just don't have a refined enough palate (ear?). but i did find i enjoyed it far more when i listened closely and with headphones on - the lyrics are clever and often funny.

another one i just maybe can't appreciate enough? the song that most caught my attention was the one to with the greensleeves melody, but probably only because i recognized the lyrics. i should probably give this another, closer listen.

this was so good. so fun. so funny.

maybe i need to listen to this a couple more times to really appreciate it, but i don't think i get it. i enjoyed the instrumental tracks, but most of the songs got lost in the background. i liked lovesong, of course, but i don't know this is an album that i would go back to.

maybe i don't get this? it was fun and upbeat but didn't really capture my attention. definitely need to give it another listen

okay some serious bangers in this one, and her voice is so rich. also some totally forgettable songs. not an album i would listen to all the way through, but definitely some songs to keep in mind.

this took me nearly a week to listen to. borderline unlistenable. i've heard that more recent tswift albums may be good, and i'm honestly more open to her older hokey country stuff, but this one just wasn't it.

a really lovely vibe. i especially enjoyed til the cops come knocking

10/10 no notes, a truly incredible album
